About Canvas Los Angeles

Founded by longtime members of the tattoo community, Canvas Los Angeles has a singular goal: To promote and elevate the artistic contributions of the constantly expanding tattoo culture. We reject the notion of an inherent disconnect between fine art and tattoo art, and have made a point to showcase the best and brightest tattoo artists in our gallery space, celebrating their diverse talents beyond what they're able to accomplish on skin.

In addition to our Gallery, Canvas Los Angeles carries clothing, accessories, prints and books by tattoo artists, with portions of all proceeds going directly to the artists. More than just a store, Canvas Los Angeles is a place to support and discover tattoo artists, and to educate the public about the community from which these artists come.
